Former NBA Star Antoine Walker Files For Bankruptcy

Former three time All Star with the Boston Celtics and member of the 2006 Miami Heat team that won the NBA championship, Antoine Walker has filed for bankruptcy. Walker’s bankruptcy schedules filed in the Southern District of Florida, reveal approximately 4 million in assets and 12 million in debts. Walker’s championship ring is listed as an asset. Gambling debts contributed significantly to Walker’s financial difficulties. In November 2009, he agreed to pay more than $900,000 to settle bad check charges at three Las Vegas casinos and avoid trial on felony criminal charges.
