As if credit and credit scoring was not confusing enough to the general public, there is now another credit score to be concerned about.  I am talking about the Vantage Score which is going to compete with FICO.  Vantage will consist of letter grades A through F.  The scores will also range between 501 and 990.  Each 100 point interval will correspond to a letter grade.  The scoring is touted as being simple to use and easy to understand.
For example, the website will simulate what particular actions can do to a score.  The confusion will occur as people have different scores depending upon which credit scoring company is used.  It will be interesting to see to what extent Vantage Scores have on the credit scoring industry. At this time, FICO should not have much of a concern.
