100% of Bankruptcy Debtors Have Relieved Debt Stress
Filing Bankruptcy Relieves Stress
The AP recently conducted a poll, and published an article regarding American’s stress and debt, and this got me to thinking about the relief of stress that accompanies a bankruptcy filing.
Debt-induced stress continues for many Americans
I don’t know of the methodology of the poll itself, but it seems self evident, and not much of a leap, to understand that high debt levels can create self imposed or actual stress in one’s daily life.
There are So Many Ways for Debt to Cause Stress…
Actual stress by the constant dunning phone calls or collection activities of one or a multitude of creditors. Compounded stress by being subject to the threat or actual lawsuit for collection. Negative credit reports. Homes in foreclosure or threatened vehicle repossessions.
On and on.
Self imposed stress for reflecting on one’s financial life as a failure. Or shear hopelessness in that the spiral of debt collection appears to be never ending, with no debt relief in site.
Debt Relief Counts for Something
As some of you readers know, the name of our firm is the Debt Relief Legal Clinic. Now, some might brush off a name as a simple marketing ploy, however, I suggest the name reflects our goal in helping our clients. As this article points out, there are daily financial stresses in our lives, and I suspect it was ever thus. The point is that there are methods to relieve undue stress, and in particular, a properly prepared and presented bankruptcy can achieve the goal of significant elimination of that debt stress.
Bankruptcy Relieves the Pressure
In a fashion, then, 100% of our clients find relief from their debt stress through the filing of a Ch. 7 or Ch. 13 bankruptcy. When you think about it, this makes perfect sense. The day after you receive your bankruptcy discharge, you’re back in the black. After a prolonged period of financial stress, this is a very good feeling. It will make you sleep a little better at night. Those similarly placed should avail themselves of counseling with a consumer bankruptcy attorney, to see if a bankruptcy filing is appropriate for relieving their own debt stress.
